Philadelphia Park Racetrack
Philadelphia Park Racetrack sought to transform itself from a single venue horse track to a multi-faceted destination experience which would compete with tourism attractions in the area and region. As the conceptual master planner, CCS conceived of and developed a comprehensive master plan vision for a mixed-use, entertainment/gaming resort development that leveraged its prime location on 450 acres in the heart of Buck’s County, PA. Responding to the ever-changing resort and entertainment market in nearby New York and Atlantic City, Philadelphia Park sought to create a unique and one-of-a-kind resort experience through new creative program uses and attractions to both complement the existing successful track offerings and leverage the incredible opportunities presented with the large, contiguous and natural site.
